Brett Schneid grew up in Santa Monica and later attended The Pennsylvania State University, where he majored in World History. He went on to earn a master’s degree in elementary education from Arizona State University. During his time in his graduate program, he earned teaching credentials in elementary education, English, social studies, and reading literacy. He has been in education for three years and has taught grades three through eight in a variety of subjects at Calvary Christian School and is very excited to start a new chapter at Sycamore Community School. His teaching philosophy is based on educating students beyond the classroom, building relationships, and allowing for a sense of creativity within the classroom every day.
When he is not teaching, he loves to travel, surf, hike, camp, and try new things that relate to the outdoors! He has been to four of the seven continents and loves to explore new cities and anything ocean related. He also loves baseball and can not wait to see the Dodgers win another World Series!
