Ali Marshall is a proud Ohio native who has been enjoying her time on the West Coast so far! Ali graduated from Ohio University in 2020 with a B.S.Ed. to teach Adolescent- to Young-Adult Integrated Language Arts and has a minor in both English and Communication Studies. Since then, Ali has been teaching middle school English for the past four years in the Los Angeles area.
Miss Marshall describes herself as an educator, innovator, and life-long learner who has a range of teaching experience across grades 6-8. She places great importance on integrating real-world concepts into literature lessons that help students make connections beyond the confines of the classroom. She believes in a holistic teaching approach and therefore works hard to prepare students not only academically but also socially and emotionally. Miss Marshall is dedicated to cultivating a positive classroom atmosphere where cognitive growth, connection, compassion, and curiosity flourish.
In her free time, Miss Marshall enjoys going to the beach, hiking various trails, reading fun books, and exploring new coffee shops whenever she gets the chance!
