Middle School ELA Teacher 

Sycamore Community School is seeking an English/Language Arts teacher for grades 6-8. Small class sizes, engaged learners and a school culture committed to interesting field trips and regular trips to the public library are characteristics of Sycamore Community School, a start-up school planning for its fourth year. Our curriculum includes a literature-based, reading-centric program with a writers workshop component, Eureka mathematics, and Teacher Curriculum for Social Studies. 

The successful candidate will maintain a positive learning environment in their classroom. They should be able to collaborate and communicate effectively with students, parents, administration, and, if applicable outside professionals, as well as be dynamic and adaptable to a changing work environment.
